Ashern Adult Day Program 
(Golden Girls)
Open to everyone! We currently do not have any male participants but the program is open to everyone. 

 
What is ADP?
A community based program, providing activities and experiences designed to improve physical and cognitive abilities, and to enhance an individual's ability to remain in their own home. It's also an opportunity for people to socialize with others who may be experiencing similar challenges.

Who can join?
Any adult who would benefit from social or recreational activities within a supportive environment may be eligible. Individuals who require assistance with mobility or activities of daily living may benefit from this program.
 
How much does it cost?
The cost is $9.80 per day and includes all activities, snacks, transportation, and a nutritious lunch!
 
What will I do when I get there?
Activities are planned with the needs and interests of the individuals attending the group in mind, and may include: 

  • Exercises

  • Card games

  • Board games

  • Trivia

  • Crafts

  • Cooking and Baking

  • Music and Sign-a-longs

  • Storytelling

  • Reminiscing

  • Lunch outings

  • Field trips

  • Celebrations and community events

  • Guest speakers

  • Support and friendship

3 days a week (Ashern)

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

from 10 AM - 2 PM.

Every second Wednesday (Hilbre) 10 AM - 2 PM.
